Friday 1st April sees the first of Thunder’s monthly parties and our guest DJ ain’t no April Fool.

He cut his teeth DJing a Colorado leather bar as a teenager, before moving to New York to set up one of the biggest crossover house acts of the last 10 year. He penned the poem that formed the basis of group’s debut hit, one of the most significant house records of this century. He has DJed to millions of people when his set stole the show during C4 New Year’s Eve house party in 2012 (he played Sound Factory classic Whatever Girl’s ‘Activator’ on national TV!). And what he doesn’t know about New York dance music history isn’t worth knowing.

He’s fierce, he’s brilliant, he’s the creative force behind Hercules and Love Affair, he’s responsible for ‘Blind’, he’s an amazing DJ, he’s ANDY BUTLER.
