Event Details
We welcome Mike Dunn over for the first Thunder of 2016.
Responsible for some of the most important records in the history of house music, from the seminal early house joints like ‘Let It Be Houze’ and ‘Dance You Mutha’, through to ‘Magic Feet’ and his collaborations with Armando, to 90s classic ‘God Made Me Phunky’ right up to his latest productions on More About Music, his releases have featured on what reads like a who’s who of legendary labels including Westbrook, Rocking House, Trax, Warehouse, DJax Up Beats, Musique, Chicago Bad Boy, DJ International, Underground and many, many more.
Not content with such prolific production output, Mike is a fantastic DJ too, cutting his teeth at the second incarnation of Chicago’s infamous Warehouse, where Ron Hardy dubbed him his natural successor, Mike joins us at Thunder fresh from headlining Panorama’s Bar Klub Natch, London super club Fabric, Sub Culture in Glasgow and ADE Festival in Amsterdam.
Support from resident Miles Simpson.
200 people. A Red light. And smoke machine.
